About Askfreelance

Askfreelance is a free platform connecting businesses with freelancers and extras in France. It is published by Lëtz Pilot SARL-S, a Luxembourg company based in Belvaux.

What Askfreelance does

Businesses describe a need (a project, short-notice help, specific expertise); freelancers and extras create a profile. We then put people in touch. Askfreelance covers all professions: finance and accounting, tech and data, design, marketing, writing, consulting and ERP, training, HR, admin, hospitality, events, logistics and construction.

Askfreelance is neither an employer nor a temping agency: the business remains the employer (for an extra hired on a fixed-term contract) or the client (for a self-employed provider). No wages or invoices go through the platform.

Free for everyone

Signing up, posting a job, browsing profiles and being put in touch are free for businesses, freelancers and extras alike. There is no subscription, no listing fee and no commission.

How profiles and job offers are checked

• A profile is private by default. It only appears in the public directory if the person asks for it, with explicit consent, and after our team has approved it.
• Every job posted is reviewed by a person before it is published.
• Freelancers’ contact details are never published: an interested business goes through Askfreelance, which reads the request and arranges the introduction.

Two websites, one platform

askfreelance.lu for Luxembourg and the Greater Region (in French, English, German and Luxembourgish) and askfreelance.work for France (in French and English).

Illustrations

The portraits in the homepage slideshow (first name, profession, town) are illustrations of fictional people, not real profiles.
